Can I use metric or decimal or fractions interchangeably?

What is the simplest way to temporarily convert the numbers from fractions to decimals on the order page?

Settings -> E-Commerce -> Order Settings there is a button that says "show fractions on order page" which just converts the fractions to decimals after input.
