Computing a Lead Time

Use Allmoxy's lead times to ensure on-time deliveries!

Default lead time

The lead time is a static value, which you set in your order settings ⚙️➡️ E-Commerce ➡️ Order Settings. This lead time will determine a ship date on new orders (ordered date + default lead time). On each order, you can manually change the actual ship date in the sidebar if needed.

Enter the number of days to represent your standard lead time.

lead time

This lead time uses consecutive days and does not account for weekends or holidays.
For example if your lead time is 10 working days, you'd want to enter 14 to account for the two weekends.

Production lines and lead times

You can also set a lead time for each production line. This setting will not impact the estimated ship date like the default lead time does, but it will give you clarity on when each production line should be started in an order to achieve the desired ship date.

Here's an example of an order with products from two different production lines.
This production timeline tells you when to start cabinet products and when to start the hardwood fronts.

To set the production line lead time, navigate to ⚙️ ➡️ Operations ➡️ Labor Processes.

Open the labor process that you'd like to edit, enter the number of days needed to complete this production line.
