I want to control what pricing new customers see.
Some people sell primarily to dealers and don't want random customers who sign up to see their base pricing, here's how to control that.
Create a price adjustment based on tags. For this example, you'd probably want to do a surcharge price adjustment for companies with the "RetailCustomer" tag (you can call this tag whatever you want).
Then, create a trigger that fires to add a tag whenever a new account is created. Add the Tag "RetailCustomer"
Obviously, not all of your new accounts will be retail customers, but this is a good way to prevent customers from seeing your base price when they might actually get charged more. I'd recommend setting up another trigger than alerts an employee when a new account is created, so that employee can decide if they're a retail customer or not, and change the tag as needed.
