Creating Labels in Allmoxy
There are two methods for creating labels in Allmoxy: Product-level labels allow you to add dimension, part, and attribute information to a label. Order-level labels include details about the order and don't allow for specific part information. Review the article to understand how to set each label type up and review some troubleshooting tips!
Product level labels
Order level labels
To set up labels with product information (dimensions, attributes, etc):
Navigate to ⚙️➡️ECommerce➡️Output Pages to create a new Labels style output page.
Set the parameters for your label page! Insert the number of columns, the label width, the product margin (the space BETWEEN each label), etc.
If you're using a label printer (like a Zebra roll printer), set the column to 1 and then set the page size to your single label size.
Once you've created your Labels-type output page, navigate to a Product and select the Labels tab!
Select ➕Add Label
Here, you will find a WYSIWYG-style editor to create and format your label. Type whatever you want, and use the order, group and item level variables available from the side bar to customize each label!
Determine whether you prefer one label per line (regardless of quantity) or an individual label for each item in the line.
You'll also see at the bottom the options to "import" and "export" labels. This allows you to send labels from one product to another so you don't have to build the same label for everything in your catalog.
Labels cannot be edited at scale, so make SURE you're happy with your final label before exporting to other products.
Use the import section to grab labels from other products or use the export section to send a label to any other products.
To set up an order-level label (shipping info, for example):
Create a brand new output page and then use the labels section of the page to add the variables you would like on each label.
You'll notice settings for the number of labels you want across the page as well as padding for the labels - this will help you get the label positioned on the page as closely as possible to the way you want them, especially if you're using a label printer (e.g you might want only 1 column if your labels are print on a big roll rather than a sheet of labels).
Then be sure to put the {labels} variable in the HTML section of the output page. See below:
Additionally, we’ve seen a few other users take advantage of the export feature to build shipping labels or print labels from a label maker. Most label printers come with their own software that you can import a .csv file into. You can have Allmoxy generate that .csv for you by using part exports.
