How to hide products or categories that are under construction

An option for hiding products or categories that are still under design would be to make the them 'company exclusive'  to your own company. Then if you need to see it on the order page for testing purposes you'll need to choose your company name from the drop down in the side bar so that those exclusive products will show up.
