Select-Style Attribute Settings

Select-Style Attributes have specific settings that dictate their availability on the order page. Here's a breakdown:

Default: Only one option can be the system-wide default. This means when the attribute is on a product, it will automatically be defaulted to the checked option. 

 

Hidden attributes are required to have a default selection. 


Available:  Set the availability of each option at the attribute level. If an option is set to Available ➡️No, it will not show in the dropdown list on the order page. You can use Edit Overrides to change the availability of options on individual products.

Selectable: Selectable ➡️ Yes allows the customers to select the option, no allows the customer to view the option, but not select it (the option will appear greyed out if it is available, but not selectable)

Hide if Selected: This option hides the attribute on output pages when the default is the selected choice. We recommend using this option if you want to declutter your output pages and have a standard option that doesn't need referencing on an output page.
