Accept bank (ACH) payments
Let customers pay invoices from their bank account: turn on eCheck, allow it for each customer company, and handle a payment that bounces.
To accept bank (ACH) payments, turn on eCheck in Settings > Admin > Financial, then allow checks on each customer company that may pay this way. Bank payments need Stripe Connect.
Applies to: shops using Stripe Connect. The plain Stripe option can't take bank payments. Financial settings need the Manage Financial Settings permission.

Turn on bank payments
- Go to Settings > Admin > Financial.
- Under Receiving Payments, check that your merchant gateway is Stripe Connect.
- Turn on eCheck and save.
- Open each customer company that may pay by bank account and allow checks for that company.
Customers whose company doesn't allow checks won't see the bank option when they pay.
Before you turn it on
A bank payment can be returned days after it looks paid, for example when the account doesn't have the funds. Think about which customers you allow it for, and when you start production on orders paid this way.
If a bank payment bounces
- Go to Financial > Payment Receipts and open the payment.
- Choose This Check Bounced and enter the fee.
Allmoxy reopens the invoices the payment covered and adds a bounced payment fee invoice. Your default fee is set in Financial settings. Recording a bounce needs the Manage Financial Settings permission.
