Let dealers show their own logo (Dealer Mode)
Turn on Dealer Mode in Allmoxy so a dealer's primary contact can replace your header with their own logo and branding for everyone at that dealer.
Dealer Mode lets your dealers show their own branding on your site, so they can represent their brand while meeting with their customers. You turn it on once, on Settings > Admin > Theme; then the primary contact at each dealer uploads a logo or header that replaces yours for everyone signed in at that dealer's company. Your other customers keep seeing your header.
Applies to: shops that sell through dealers. Turning Dealer Mode on needs the Edit the site settings permission. On the dealer's side, only the primary contact of a company with the Customer role can set up their branding.

Turn on Dealer Mode
- Log in to your site and go to Settings > Admin > Theme (the page is titled Theme Settings).
- Turn on the Enable Dealer Mode toggle.
- Save.
That is the only switch on your side. It allows a dealer to upload their logo to use in lieu of your header; it doesn't change anything until a dealer sets theirs up. The other settings on the page are explained in Theme settings: what each setting does.
Who at the dealer can set it up
Only the primary contact of the dealer's company gets the Dealer Settings page: it appears under Settings in their account once your Dealer Mode is on. The other people at the dealer don't see the page, though they all see the branding once it's on. The company must hold the Customer role; the page is never offered to your own company or to a vendor.
The primary contact is the first contact added to a company, and you can change it on the company's edit form. To check what the dealer sees, an administrator can open the primary contact and use Hijack; see What your customers see and can do.
What the dealer can set
Have your dealer's primary contact log in and open Dealer Settings under Settings in their account. There they can:
- Turn Dealer Mode on or off for their company with the switch at the top. Branding shows only while it's on.
- Upload a header background image. This is the backdrop of the header. They can remove it again later.
- Upload a header logo and choose whether to show or hide it.
- Enter header content in the rich text editor: text, links or their own HTML, if they want more than a logo. When the header content has anything in it, it takes the place of the logo and the logo upload is skipped.
- Save.
As a starting point, the sizes that work for your own header (a background 2000 x 300 px and a logo 250 px wide by the header height) work for theirs.
What everyone at the dealer sees
While your Dealer Mode is on and the dealer's own switch is on, everyone signed in at that dealer's company sees the dealer's header instead of yours, on every page. Nothing else changes: the catalog, prices, invoices and emails are still yours. Your employees and your other customers never see a dealer's header.
If it isn't working
- The dealer can't find Dealer Settings. One of three things: your Enable Dealer Mode toggle is off, the person isn't the company's primary contact, or the company doesn't hold the Customer role. Check them in that order.
- The dealer set it up but nobody sees it. The dealer's own switch on the Dealer Settings page is off. Have the primary contact turn it on and save.
- The logo doesn't show. The header content has text in it, and content replaces the logo. Clear the header content, or put the logo inside the content instead.
- The dealer wants it gone. The primary contact turns their switch off; everyone at the company sees your header again on their next page load.
Things to know
- One company, one header. Every contact at the dealer sees the same header; a dealer can't brand per person.
- Dealer Mode is only the header. A dealer's prices and products come from tags and price adjustments, not from Dealer Mode. See Prices and products for each customer group.
- Changing the primary contact moves the page. The new primary contact gets Dealer Settings; the old one loses it.
- Your own branding is set on the same Theme page. See Brand your site: company name, logos, header and login page.
