Guide: Set up and brand your Allmoxy site

Where every site-wide Allmoxy setting lives (theme, logos, units, currency, language, emails, domain), the order to set them up in, and links to each step.

Your Allmoxy site carries your name, your logo and your colors, and it speaks your customers' units, currency and language. Most of that is set on a handful of settings pages. This guide shows what lives where, the order to set things up in, and where to find the steps for each task.

Applies to: every shop. Only your employees can open Settings, and each page checks its own permission (named on each page below). All of them are on for the Employer role by default.

A saved setting takes effect the next time a page loads. There's no history of past settings in the app, so note what you change.

Set things up in this order

  1. Company name and logos. Your company name is the sender name on your emails and shows on your output pages, so get it right first. Then upload your site logo, invoice logo, login side image and header. See Brand your site: company name, logos, header and login page.
  2. Theme. Pick the Order Page Columns, the Sidebar Location, your Company Time Zone and the Default Color Mode for your team. See Theme settings: what each setting does and Use light or dark mode.
  3. Units and precision. Decide how fine your measurements go and whether customers can order in metric. See Set measurement precision and show fractions and Let customers order in imperial or metric.
  4. Currency. Your site has one currency, set when it was created. If it isn't US dollars, see Use a currency other than US dollars.
  5. Language. Set the site default and each person's own language. See Set the language for your site and for each person.
  6. Emails. Make sure your customers receive what Allmoxy sends, and know which emails go out on their own. See Make sure your Allmoxy emails are delivered and Emails Allmoxy sends and who gets them.
  7. Your web address. Link to Allmoxy from your website, and request a custom domain if you want one. See Use your own web address and link it from your website.
  8. Live chat (optional). Put your chat widget on every page. See Add a live chat widget for your customers.

Brand what your customers see

Your customers see your login page, your header on every page, and your logo on invoices and confirmations. The Theme page holds all of those images. If you sell through dealers, Dealer Mode on the same page lets a dealer's primary contact brand the site for that dealer's own users; see Dealer Mode.

Things to consider before you roll it out

  • Check the login page logged out. Open your site address in a private browser window to see what a new customer sees.
  • Send yourself a test email. Fire a trigger or email yourself an invoice and check the sender name and reply address.
  • Keep a backup of your header HTML before you edit it. An emptied header is deleted.
  • Changing your currency later means a support request. It's locked once set.
